Sarah Walther-Young

Sarah studied German and modern European history with a focus in East German history and transformation processes in Eastern Europe after 1989.

She later obtained a Master’s degree in Conflict Transformation. She has worked in women´s empowerment, youth peacebuilding leadership development and experiential and non-formal education in Zambia and the USA, as well as in conflict prevention in Georgia. She started work in Germany as project director for integration and civic participation for refugee women.

Sarah joined CRISP in April 2018.
