The Panel Meeting on the Economic Integration of Migrants was organized by Poland and Georgia with the support of the European Commission and the UN Migration Agency inviting experts from the EU Member States, six Eastern Partnership countries, the European Institutions, UN agencies, OSCE as well as International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). CRISP e.V. was invited by IOM, the UN Migration Agency, in order to deliver the interactive session during the second day of the panel meeting.

The main goals of the interactive workshop were to foster an active interaction between the participants and thus enhance networking and contribute to increased cooperation and exchange in the future.

CRISP ventured outside its usual methodology reprertuire by suggestion Appreciative Inquiry (AI) as a method of choice. AI enables participants to find innovative solutions to complex problems by approaching these from a positive perspective. The conscious focus on the positive gives courage and strength, as opposed to the usual way of thinking about the problem, which is stuck in the negative.

We are very greatful for the cooperation and happy to end the year with a successfull effort to bring experts from various backgrounds together for a fruitful exchange.
