CRISP – Conflict Transformation and Civic Education

CRISP and GIZ continue their cooperation in Kyrgyzstan for a second year. A workshop for developing a simulation game on the topic of religion marked the beginning of the consultancy.

The third year of the project "Peaceful Dialogue in Kyrgyzstan" has come to its end. We discussed the progress and the eleven activities facilitated by the participants

We almost cannot believe it ourselves, but calendars are not lying and a look in the mirror also proves it: CRISP is 10. It has been an amazing journey and looking back brings up plenty of moments we will never forget.

We have hosted a delegation of our project partners from Kyrgyzstan for a study visit to Berlin between the 11th and 17th of September.

CRISP has completed two Training-of-Trainers in Kyrgyzstan in the first half of August

Our work in Kyrgyzstan has intensified in the last weeks. We have conducted three workshops in July and will be back in the beginning of August.

CRISP trained a new generation of Peaceful Dialogue facilitators in Kyrgyzstan

On the 8th of October we hold a roundtable-discussion in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on the topic of “How to fight religious extremism”, with government officials, Kyrgyz experts on the topic and 16 participants from different regions of Kyrgyzstan.

At the end of May and the beginning of June we had continuation of our project ‚Peaceful Dialogue’ in Kyrgyzstan. The simulation game on fighting religious extremism was conducted in Osh, Jalalabad and Issyk Kul.
