Academy for Conflict Transformation

During the 9-Week-Training-Workshop we implemented one of our most complex simulation games, so the participants could test their acquired knowledge.

We contributed to the pre-final week of the course with our experience from the field and the lessons learned from our own peace projects. This combined with the common experience of the simulation game, provided a very constructive space to reflect on the tools learned previously and their feasibility when it comes to real-life-challenges.

The simulation game “Kodori” gave the participants the safe space needed to try out themselves and gave them further insights on how to deal with different actors from track-1 to 2 and how to convince them to engage in a peacebuilding process.

The Academy for Conflict Transformation in the Forum Civil Peace Service is a professional learning space for peace work. Since 15 years, the academy is training experts to do international peacebuilding. It is a real pleasure for CRISP to be part of this learning platform and to contribute with innovative approaches.
