Evaluation and Reflection in Bishkek

As our activities in the frame of the cooperation with DVV Kyrgyzstan are coming to an end, we have conducted an evaluation and reflection seminar in Bishkek to review the initiatives implemented in the past four months.

Fourteen Initiatives in as many locations have been implemented in the frame of the project “Democracy and Religion - Dialogue between Equal And Moderate Voices”. They were aimed at preventing religious radicalization amongst youth and developing sustainable local crime prevention centres in all regions of Kyrgyzstan. The initiatives have involved various methods including lectures, quiz games, debates and street art. Initiators are committed to continue their work in the locations and upscale activities for even further impact.

As a final step in the project, a National Forum titled “Youth Councils in action for community security dialogue” will constitute a frame in which the results of the initiatives and plans for further action will be presented to local stakeholders and international organization. The Forum will be held in Issyk-Kul on the 14th and 15th of September this year.
