Final Conference of E+ Youth-Activizenship Project

This November, CRISP, in partnership with East-West Lab / Laboratorio Oriente-Occidente (Youth NGO), held the final conference of a year-long Erasmus+ project “E+ Youth-Activizenship” at the Head Office of the Open Society Foundations in Berlin.

In the context of the project, 10 NGOs from 10 EU countries have been working together on enhancing the impact of youth work on youth participation at a local level. Two previous training courses took place in Italy and Germany, during which the participants learned new methods and approaches, as well as best practices to reach out and empower youth not yet engaged in social and political life.

At the final conference, 40 participants discussed the project results with several high-level experts. These were Giovanni Kessler, Hors Classe Adviser at DG-BUDGET/European Commission (EC); Irene Maria Plank, Head of Division Business and Human Rights at the German Foreign (DE MFA); and Anita Karpati; Office Senior Program Administrative Specialist at the Open Society Foundations (OSF).

The session’s goal was to provide the project participants with the opportunity to present their developed youth participation action plans, and receive feedback from speakers so as to improve them and further successfully implement them in their local communities.
