At the end of August we implemented the first out of three regional seminars from the project „Fighting Right-Wing Populism in Europe“ in Skopje. Together with our partner organizations and highly motivated participants from Italy, Germany, Greece and Macedonia we discussed the topic of right-wing populism in Europe. Therefore, we used once again a simulation game to gain a better understanding of the dynamics, reasons and mechanism of right-wing populism. The simulation game was developed and tested last year and after some changes is now implemented for the second time.
We had five days full of discussions and all participants could find similarities between what happened in the game and the situation in their home country or other states in Europe.
We are happy to hear that all of the participants enjoyed the workshop and developed first ideas to tackle this phenomenon. Therefore, we also want to thank the participants for this interesting and joyful workshop and looking forward to the upcoming workshops in Budapest and Lviv.
