With years of NGO experience in Chile, working in the field of human rights, as well as the criminal and juvenile justice systems, Nicolas Soto joins CRISP.
His role here will focus mainly on supporting our current project in Chile aimed to increase marginalized youth's opportunities for political participation in the Constitutional process.
Before joining us, Nicholas co-founded the NGO “Litigracion Estructural para Latinoamerica” (LEASUR), and worked as a researcher there. He is also a graduate of law and is currently enrolled in the Public Policy masters program at the Hertie School of Governance (Berlin). With goals to continue engaging in initiatives that promote access to justice for vulnerable groups and strengthen democracy in conflicted areas, Nicolas is confident that his time at CRISP will offer him the chance to broaden his perspective in political education and conflict transformation.
