This project supports local peacebuilding capacities in Nigeria through a comprehensive training programme on trauma-informed peacebuilding, environmental peacebuilding, and conflict sensitivity. Implemented by CRISP as part of GIZ Nigeria’s PEACE CORE II project, the trainings strengthen the ability of local actors to design and implement peacebuilding interventions that are inclusive, conflict-aware, environmentally sustainable, and sensitive to trauma.
The programme combines hands-on, participatory training methods with a strong focus on real-world application. It is complemented by an AI-supported learning and feedback tool that allows participants to access materials, receive guidance, and continue learning beyond the in-person trainings.
