After finishing the funding process of digital.engagiert and receiving helpful financial and topical input to the development of the simulation game and our app, we finally had the chance to share this updated version with potential multipliers. The Bundeskanzler Helmut Schmidt Foundation, being relatively young and focused on political participation, was an ideal starting point.
From the 16th to 17th of June, we explained, showed and played our simulation game with the help of our newly designed WebApp. Over the course of two days, participants in the training got the chance to learn more about how to moderate a simulation game, how to use the technical side of the simulation and lastly how to play the simulation game. “Wer regiert Neuland?” is aimed at first time voters who are eager to learn more about political compromise, government formation, and democracy as a whole.
