We organized a conference “Cultural Diplomacy to Counter Disinformation” gathering actors from Germany and Eastern Partnership countries on September 3-5, 2022. The message coming from the participants of the conference was very clear: we need to act cooperatively against the threatening raise of autocracy and terror. And this unity needs to be visible in the European Union too, where the recent protests against soaring inflation and the raise of energy prices e.g. in Prague and Leipzig question the need for sanctions against Russia and demand a new deal with the aggressor.
Interesting, professional and very diverse speakers made the program insightful and engaging. Additionally, participants developed and pitched common project ideas in the sphere of cultural diplomacy. Three of the received award.
