Internship from September: Help build the Konfliktsimulator

Concept work, testing, focus groups: internship at CRISP developing the Konfliktsimulator. Apply by 24.07.2026.

CRISP e.V. is looking for an intern from September 2026 to help develop the Konfliktsimulator, an AI-supported VR and browser application for training conflict competence, funded under the federal programme "Demokratie leben!" (BMFSFJ).

The Konfliktsimulator allows educational professionals to practice conflict situations in a protected virtual space, comparable to a flight simulator for conflict management. Users hold dialogues with virtual characters, receive AI-supported feedback, and train evidence-based micro-methods of de-escalation and mediation.

Depending on interest and prior experience, the internship can focus on one or more areas: developing and documenting conflict scenarios, testing and quality assurance of the VR/browser module, preparing and accompanying focus groups with teachers and educators, researching conflict transformation and digital education, and supporting presentations and funding applications.

Key facts: start September 2026, duration 3–4 months, approx. 20 hours/week, compensation €300/month, based in Berlin with partial remote work possible.

We're looking for interest in conflict transformation and civic education, good written and spoken German, and an independent, structured way of working in a small, agile team.

Applications with a cover letter (max. one page) and CV, preferably as PDF, by 24.07.2026 to konfliktsimulator@crisp-berlin.org.
