Hannah Koch is one of two German UN Youth Delegates for 2024–2025 and has addressed the UN General Assembly’s Third Committee, advocating for youth perspectives on social development, human rights, and gender equality. In this role, she represents the 10 million young people living in Germany at international forums, including UNGA79, the Commission on Social Development (CSocD63), and the G20 Youth Summits in Brazil and India.
She is currently obtaining a BA in Political Science and Sustainability Science at Leuphana University, with a semester abroad in Hong Kong and a double-degree with the IEP Fontainebleau. Through her diplomatic work, she has negotiated on critical global challenges such as the reduction of poverty, hunger, and inequality (Y20 Brazil), and youth leadership in governance (Y20 India).
Beyond multilateral diplomacy, she has been actively involved in grassroots initiatives, sustainable development projects, and contributing policy recommendations to the German government—reflecting a deep commitment to shaping inclusive and forward-thinking global policies. With her background in both grassroots work and high-level diplomacy, she is passionate about strengthening youth leadership in peace and governance - perfectly in line with our mission at CRISP!
