Promoting Peace and Education in MENA: IPI MENA and CRISP Announce Partnership

We are thrilled to announce the partnership between the International Peace Institute (IPI) MENA and CRISP. This partnership is a significant step towards promoting peace and security in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and we couldn't be prouder.

IPI is an independent, international not-for-profit think tank dedicated to managing risk and building resilience to promote peace, security, and sustainable development. With offices in New York and Manama, IPI MENA is committed to addressing critical challenges within the region, such as armed conflict, state fragility, transnational organized crime, terrorism, and energy security. By focusing on these issues, IPI MENA contributes to the international community's efforts to strengthen the collective capability regarding conflict prevention, multilateral diplomacy, mediation, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding.

CRISP, on the other hand, is an international organization that promotes conflict transformation and intercultural dialogue through education and training programs. By working closely with local organizations, CRISP aims to promote regional integration and sustainable development in different parts of the world.

The virtual meeting has been held between Nejib Friji Senior Director of IPI MENA and Andreas Muckenfuß Founder & Director of CRISP. Both organizations identified similarities in their goals and objectives. They both recognized the importance of education in the MENA region and the need for regional integration strategies. This common ground provided the foundation for a fruitful partnership between IPI MENA and CRISP.

By working together, IPI MENA and CRISP can leverage their respective strengths and expertise to develop innovative solutions to some of the region's most pressing challenges. For instance, IPI MENA can provide the necessary research and strategic analysis, while CRISP can offer the necessary training and education programs. This partnership will undoubtedly lead to more effective conflict transformation and promote intercultural dialogue in the MENA region.

The partnership between IPI MENA and CRISP is a source of pride for both organizations. It represents a commitment to a better future for the region, one that is characterized by peace, security, and sustainable development. We believe that this partnership is a significant step towards achieving these goals and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the MENA region in the years to come.
