Spotlight on virtual conflict training: Our new project film is now online

In partnership with STUDIO GOMI, we are highlighting the potential of VR in youth work.

CRISP e.V. is delighted to announce the release of a new promotional film showcasing our innovative project, “Virtual Conflict Management: Effectively Addressing Conflicts in Youth Work”.
The film offers a vivid insight into the heart of the project: the conflict simulator. Professionals from schools, social work and youth support can use it to practise realistic conflict situations safely and repeatedly – without risk, but with genuine learning benefits. Two virtual characters, Sasha and Luca, react in real time to the users’ conversation style and, just like in a real conversation, reflect the quality of the micro-methods chosen. An AI coach provides individual feedback after each session and highlights progress.
In close collaboration with STUDIO GOMI, a film has been produced that not only explains the concept but also captures the motivation behind the project: we want to empower youth workers – with a training format that is practical, flexible and has a lasting impact.

The conflict simulator can be used with VR headsets or a standard internet browser. The project is funded by the federal programme “Demokratie leben!” and receives academic support from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. Those interested can also register as testers and play an active role in shaping the simulator’s further development.
