Our new colleague, Lea, at CRISP!

Lea brings a wealth of experience and a great passion for human rights, peacebuilding and intercultural cooperation. She was born and raised in Germany and holds a master's degree in political philosophy and economics.

Her passion for peacebuilding, political education and international cooperation developed early on and was further strengthened by her academic and professional experiences.

During her work at the University of Mannheim, she developed and led tutorials in the field of political philosophy, focusing primarily on the topics of global justice, migration ethics, democracy and nationalism, pursuing interdisciplinary approaches. Her semester abroad took her to Colombia, where she focused on human rights and peace culture and gained an insight into the landscape of political project work in Colombia. Before joining CRISP, she worked for some time in the field of socially sustainable tourism and intercultural communication, coordinating international teams.

In addition to her professional and academic career, she has always been involved in voluntary work, particularly in the areas of civic engagement and democratic participation.

Driven by a desire to make a lasting contribution to promoting democratic structures and global justice, Lea decided to focus on the NGO sector, particularly in the field of project management. At CRISP, she looks forward to contributing her diverse skills and passion for political education to the team. She sees every new task as an opportunity to contribute to our shared mission of promoting democratic values and intercultural understanding, thereby helping to create a more just and peaceful world.
