Fiona studied Sociology and Political Science at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
During her studies she focused on the disciplines of Conflict and Political Violence, International Relations, EU Integration and the Western Balkan.
Prior to joining CRISP, she was a Research Intern at the Institute of Democracy and Mediation Albania, where she assisted the research work conducted on Good Governance, Anti-Corruption, EU enlargement and Religious Violence in the country. She also wrote an op-ed on Albania’s progress on the EU conditions for the Think for Europe Network (TEN) in Belgrade.
Fiona is interested in gaining more knowledge in conflict research and the implications in the respective communities, as well as gain an insight in the application of the methodology of simulation games as a proactive approach to political education.
