Johannes studied sociology and human geography at the University of Göttingen and subsequently completed a Master’s degree in organisational communication at the University of Greifswald. He is also a qualified mediator – a qualification that underscores his strong ability to analyse conflicts in a nuanced manner, facilitate dialogue processes and promote constructive solutions.
During his time at CRISP, Johannes worked primarily on the conflict simulator. Thanks to his specialist expertise in communication and mediation, he made a particularly valuable contribution to the design and implementation of the project. With his analytical eye, structured approach and understanding of conflict dynamics, he supported the development of practical and effective training formats.
In addition, Johannes helped to update various simulation exercises and also took on responsibility for running them. In doing so, he not only contributed his methodological skills but also impressed us with his extraordinary commitment to peacebuilding, dialogue and political education.
We are particularly pleased that Johannes will continue to support us after his internship, especially in measuring the impact of the conflict simulator. His expertise will thus remain a key component in the project’s further development and will help us to make the quality and impact of our work even more visible and transparent.
