On 14 September 2026, CRISP conducted a one-day simulation game on conflict, negotiation and international diplomacy as part of the Berlin Moment of the meet! Mercator Europa Tour. It was based on an adapted version of the CRISP simulation game “Peace for Aridora?”. The fictional state of Aridora has been affected by civil war for years, aggravated by water scarcity and climatic change. At a peace conference, participants took on the roles of the government, rebels, civil society, indigenous communities and neighbouring states and jointly developed proposals for an upcoming peace summit. A final debriefing linked the experiences from the game with impressions from the Berlin Moment and the tour as a whole.
