3rd Training for 2024 UN Youth Delegates and Representatives

The event gathered esteemed dignitaries from six embassies in Tanzania, including Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Sweden, and Switzerland, highlighting the importance of this initiative on a global scale.
The training focused on finalizing the mandates of the youth representatives and developing a unified position on the revisions of the zero draft for the upcoming Summit of the Future. Key topics of discussion included Youth in Peace and Security, Youth Participation, and Youth Unemployment. These areas are vital as the delegates prepare for their participation in the United Nations General Assembly and the Summit of the Future in New York this September.

Throughout the week, delegates engaged in various workshops designed to enhance their skills in storytelling, team-building, negotiation, and presentation, all crucial for effective representation at international forums. A notable highlight was the organization of a side event at the UN Headquarters in Dar es Salaam, allowing delegates to apply their newly acquired skills in a real-world setting.
