Building on BFD’s efforts for reconciliation and dialogue, CRISP and BFD have planned a partnership visit from September 22 to 27, 2024, that aims to promote social cohesion and dialogue between Bahrain and Germany.
The program includes meetings with German government agencies, NGOs, and community groups. These meetings promise multifaceted benefits, such as knowledge transfer between Bahraini delegates and German experts in conflict resolution, informing policy development and community initiatives in Bahrain. Additionally, the visit will facilitate networking and partnerships between BFD and German institutions, leading to collaborative projects and joint research endeavors.
BFD has extensive experience in promoting social cohesion through community dialogue initiatives and has been in operation since 2012. Their history of seeking insights from international contexts includes having previously undertaken educational trips to South Africa and Ireland. These visits underscore BFD's commitment to continuous learning and cross-cultural exchange, leveraging international expertise in its peacebuilding efforts.

- Suhail Algosaibi, Chairman of the Foundation: Founder and Chairman of BFD, Suhail is a dedicated student of reconciliation and peacebuilding with a per-sonal mission to make Bahrain and the world a happier place.
- Amin Al-Arrayed, Vice Chairman: A prominent leader in real estate investment with over 25 years of experience, Amin is pivotal in driving innovation and sustainable development.
- Ehsan Al-Kooheji, Board Member: An expert in business and technology with over 20 years of industry experience, Ehsan is an IT executive and entrepreneur.
- Noor Al-Haji, Board Member: Noor is experienced in peace and reconciliation initiatives.
- Nuha Karmustaji, Board Member: Training and development director, and accredited trainer in dialogue facilitation and advocacy.
- Abbas Hamada, Executive Manager: A Certified Trainer in Community Dialogue and Conflict Resolution, and a Certified Mediator in Conflict Resolution, Abbas plays a key role in ensuring smooth project operations at BFD.
