On 27 June 2026, CRISP presented its conflict simulator at the summer festival hosted by the State Agency for Civic Education Berlin (Landeszentrale für politische Bildung). Interested citizens had the chance to try the tool directly at our booth and discuss the underlying methodology with our team.
The conflict simulator makes complex conflict dynamics tangible, enables perspective shifts, and lets users test strategies without real-world risk. The focus of the day was direct exchange with visitors: which topics matter to them, and where do they see potential for using simulations like this in civic education work?
These conversations generated valuable input. One key takeaway: there is strong interest in transferring existing projects and methods of democracy promotion into the conflict simulator, making them accessible to new audiences.
