Foresight 2035 – Morocco and Europe: Young Professionals Explore Future Policy Scenarios
CRISP, in collaboration with The Policy Center for the New South and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Morocco, co-organized Foresight 2035 – Morocco and Europe in a Shifting World Order, a 2.5-day national-level policy simulation aimed at fostering forward-looking perspectives on Euro-Moroccan relations.
Over the course of the event, 25 students and young professionals from policy, research, and civil society engaged in Transformative Scenario Planning and immersive policy simulations to explore diverse future possibilities. Working in collaborative teams, participants developed divergent scenarios, tested innovative ideas, and contributed to a policy brief with actionable recommendations designed to inform strategic decision-making.

This initiative offered participants a unique opportunity to enhance their foresight skills, practice collaborative policymaking, and engage in high-level policy discussions. The simulation emphasized creativity, strategic thinking, and the application of forward-looking tools to real-world challenges in Morocco-Europe cooperation.
The event also highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration between young professionals, academic institutions, and policy organizations in shaping a sustainable and resilient future for the region. By the conclusion of the simulation, participants presented their scenarios and policy recommendations, demonstrating the potential impact of innovative, youth-led policy insights.
