Go Viral!

The first Go Viral! capacity-building workshop in Berlin brought together youth workers for three days of creativity and collaboration, led by Caritas Czech Republic and CRISP.

The first Go Viral! capacity-building workshop took place in Berlin, organized by CRISP. Over three dynamic days, youth workers from four the partner organizations Caritas, Roes Cooperativa, The Portuguese Red Cross & CRISP came together to strengthen their skills, exchange ideas, and explore innovative methods for motivating young people toward active citizenship and social entrepreneurship. The workshop combined the expertise of Caritas Czech Republic and CRISP, offering participants a unique blend of analytical insight and experiential learning. Caritas led an Ideathon that delved into the mechanics of virality, analyzing why certain social campaigns captured public attention and how creative messaging can inspire social change, and asked participant later to create their own viral campaigns. Building on this foundation, CRISP conducted an interactive Simulation Game, a participatory experience, in which participants assumed various societal roles and collaborated to design impactful, realistic strategies to counter hate speech and discrimination. Together, these complementary sessions bridged analysis and action, equipping youth workers with practical tools, critical perspectives, and creative inspiration to engage young people in building more inclusive and democratic communities.
