On 21st November, 10 Palestinian diplomat participants of the International Diplomats Academy of the German Federal Foreign Office participated in the simulation game "Kodori". By taking on the role of stakeholders in the conflict between the semi-autonomous region of Kodori and the national government of a fictitious island state, they gained new perspectives and tried out new roles in a fictional conflict transformation scenario. The participants represented members of civil society and government attending a peace summit following a UN orchestrated cease-fire. The participants were highly motivated to learn and interact with the game and the other actors.
