From the 30th of August until the 2nd of September CRISP co-facilitated a workshop together with our partners from CDS as part of our YLEAD project. The ToT focused on the capacity building of the participants to facilitate regional workshops for the planning and implementation of local initiatives. The goals were to further develop professional communication and facilitation skills as well as proposal writing.
Our 30 participants from 15 different govenerates in Egypt were highly motived and discussed during inter-active exercices how biases effect working with a diversity of target groups in the non-formal education sector. Particularly the concepts of unconscious bias and non-violent communication sparked their interest and were discussed with several real life examples from the participants.
Currently our participants are implementing their regional workshops and we are excited to see the initiative proposal that they will submit by the end of this month.
