AI-Supported Peacegame with SWP Experts: A Tense but Successful Negotiation

CRISP recently facilitated the AI-supported Peacegame in collaboration with experts from the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP). The simulation engaged a highly committed group of experts who worked to find common ground amid tense negotiations. Despite the challenges, a peace agreement was ultimately reached.

The AI-driven dynamics added complexity to the process, fostering discussions in various directions and highlighting the intricate nature of peacebuilding. Even though the participants were seasoned professionals, they gained valuable insights into the grievances held by different conflict parties, emphasizing the importance of addressing these concerns for lasting solutions.

The Peacegame also underscored the critical role of third-party involvement in peace negotiations. As the participants navigated the negotiation landscape, they learned firsthand how essential it is to consider all perspectives, find common ground, and integrate diverse voices in the peacebuilding process.

The simulation's success in fostering understanding and collaboration serves as a testament to the potential of AI-enhanced tools in peacebuilding efforts.
