Award Ceremony – bpb aktiv Wettberwerb

On June 22, 2024, the award ceremony for the winners of the 2023 "Active for Democracy and Tolerance" competition took place. Sixty-five projects from across Germany were honored for their outstanding and creative engagement. Among those 65 projects, CRISP was one of the winners with the simulation game on coalition building and democracy, "Wer regiert Neuland."
The event took place in Essen, where laudations were delivered by jury members Lamya Kaddor, MdB, Helge Lindh, MdB, and Saloua Mohammed, the 2023 Ambassador for Democracy and Tolerance. Essen's Lord Mayor, Thomas Kufen, welcomed attendees with an inspiring speech. In addition to the award ceremony, an intensive two-day workshop was held, focused on networking and generating new ideas to strengthen and empower projects that promote democracy in Germany.
