Online Course on Conflict Transformation for Yemeni Youth published

Yemeni youth seeking to become active peacebuilders in their communities have a new resource available to them. A new self-paced learning course, available on the educational platform Atingi, provides learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to transform conflict and maintain sustainable peace.

The 8-module course covers a wide range of conflict transformation related topics, starting from basic concepts of conflict, peace and violence, and diving deeper into the crucial elements of designing peace initiatives and maintaining sustainable peace. Placing a particular focus on women and marginalized communities, the content and discourse of the course ensures an inclusive and contextualized approach. The targeted Yemeni youth will engage in different interactive elements that are led by an animated educational video, followed by case studies, interactive exercises and quiz questions. The course also offers a peace initiative design template along with the possibility to submit these ideas after the concluding module of the course. It also further connects them with additional material and resources beyond the course that they can utilize for this purpose. The course can be accessed on the educational platform Atingi now:
