CRISP Welcomes DAAD fellow

Amanda Žilić was born and raised in southern Germany, in a family with Croatian and Herzegovinian roots. Her passion for intercultural exchange and international cooperation developed early and was further shaped through her studies in European Sciences, Philosophy and Languages in Augsburg, Graz & Zadar.

Amanda has previously worked at universities in Ukraine and South Africa. Alongside providing support for students and her academic roles, she actively contributed to civil society projects, such as shaping inclusion initiatives in museums and promoting remembrance culture. She also organized poetry events and readings by writers to encourage artistic expression and societal dialogue.

Driven by a desire to make a lasting contribution to international and multicultural dialogue, Amanda decided to focus now on the NGO sector. Her goal is to deepen her expertise in intercultural communication and conflict resolution to build effective bridges between diverse cultures, peoples and nations.
Currently, Amanda is seeking new professional challenges, particularly in the fields of project management and international cooperation. She views every new role as an opportunity to further develop her skills and contribute to a fairer and more peaceful world.
