CRISP's "Wer Regiert Neuland" Project Receives Recognition in 2023 Democracy and Tolerance Competition

We are thrilled to announce that our project "Wer regiert Neuland" ("Who Governs Neuland") has been recognized for its excellence in the "Active for Democracy and Tolerance" competition 2023, organized by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (BpB).

We have been working on this project since early 2022 and successfully conducted the simulation game "Wer regiert Neuland" multiple times, including collaborations with the Federal Ministry of Finance, young politically active migrants, and students in German schools.

The goal of the simulation game is to provide insight into the unfamiliar world of coalition negotiations, allowing young people to develop a strengthened understanding of democratic processes. Additionally, it aims to counteract prejudices and conspiracy theories.

We are more than proud to receive this valuable award and are now part of the nationwide Active Network, enabling us to participate annually in the educational offerings of BpB.

We look forward to developing more important projects for civil society and contributing to democratic development. Thank you to all participants and partners who have supported us on this journey.
