Guest Speakers Shine at Civil Society Networking Forum

Amir Hawas and Zeinab Heidar of the Simulation Foundation for Sustainable Development took the stage as guest speakers at the Civil Society Networking Forum, hosted by GIZ's Equal Opportunities and Social Development (EOSD) project.

The event attracted over 500 visitors, including representatives from more than 80 NGOs, OPDs, private sector companies, development experts, and international donor organizations.

Over two days, the forum featured over 150 speakers and performers who engaged attendees through panel discussions, deep dive talks, and presentations on topics like NGO incubation, sports for development, youth-centered SRHR, and digital transformation in social services.

The forum highlighted both the successes and challenges in social development, focusing on the inclusion of persons with disabilities, gender equality, SRHR, and youth participation. Hawas and Heidar's presentation emphasized their efforts under the EOSD contract, promoting equal opportunities and social development through simulation games.

The event aimed to share technical and human resources among stakeholders and foster sustainable partnerships between civil society and the public and private sectors, driving impactful change and empowering diverse communities.
