Meet Our New Volunteer from Ukraine, Kateryna

We are delighted to welcome Kateryna to the CRISP team as our new European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteer!

Kate brings a unique blend of international experience, academic background, and a deep commitment to security, conflict resolution, and civic engagement.

Originally from Ukraine, Kate’s personal experiences have sparked her passion for peacebuilding, security, and understanding the complexities of international relations. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London, and then to further her studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland. There, she earned a Master’s degree in International Affairs, specializing in Global Security.

In addition to her academic path, Kate has also gained practical experience in Kyiv, Geneva, and Berlin, which equipped her with the skills to navigate complex political environments. She also has a passion for languages that translates into her dedication to communication and understanding across cultures.

At CRISP, Kate is excited to bring her diverse skill set and passion for civic education and non-violent conflict resolution to the team. She looks forward to engaging in project development, creating innovative simulation games, and is eager to learn from her new colleagues and contribute to our shared mission of fostering democratic values and intercultural understanding.
