The ARCH Regional Policy Papers Workshop in Sudan provided youth participants with essential tools to craft regionally focused climate policies, fostering greater collaboration on climate challenges.A key focus of the workshop was the preparation for Work Package 4, where participants gained the tools to take agency in monitoring the progress of the policies they’ve influenced or are actively working towards. They were trained in effective monitoring techniques, developed action plans for upcoming national meetings, and were provided with a clear roadmap for continuing their policy advocacy. This workshop not only equipped youth with practical monitoring skills but also laid the groundwork for long-term engagement and impact in climate policy processes.
